Suckling Pig, Whole Roasting Pigs up to 50 lb
A suckling pig is a small roaster pig. The meat from a suckling pig is prized for being incredibly tender and delicious. You will receive the pig cleaned with skin-on, head-on and insides removed. The pig is raw, not cooked, and USDA Inspected. Sold by hanging weight.
Delivery Date(s): Choose your delivery date(s) below. We ship weekly for delivery within a 2 day window (Thursday or Friday).
Shipping and Receiving Details: We ship using Fedex. We ship our pigs frozen in insulated boxes. Once you receive your pig you may need to wait 6-12 hours to fully thaw prior to cooking. It is recommended that you thaw in a refrigerator or keep the pig on ice until you are ready to cook. If you are not going to cook within 4 days of receiving you should keep it frozen.
Pick Up Details: Let us know in the comment box when you want to pick up. Picked up pigs are fresh, never frozen. It is recommended that you order at least 1 week in advance for pick up orders. If you need a pig sooner please contact the farm. Pick up location is 3045 Mountain Rd Saylorsburg, PA 18353. Hours 10am-6pm Mon-Sat (closed Sun).
Butterfly Pig: For an additional $20 we can butterfly your pig so that it lays flat during cooking. We can also remove the head for a $20 fee.
