Suckling Pig, Whole Roasting Pigs up to 50 lb
A suckling pig is a small roaster pig. The meat from a suckling pig is prized for being incredibly tender and delicious. You will receive the pig cleaned with skin-on, head-on and insides removed. The pig is raw, not cooked, and USDA Inspected. Sold by hanging weight.
Delivery Date(s): Choose your delivery window below. The pigs are guaranteed to arrive within the two day window, on Thursday or Friday. You will receive a tracking number the night before delivery that the pig is on its way.
Shipping and Receiving Details: We ship our pigs frozen in insulated boxes. The pig will arrive to you partially thawed. Once you receive the pig it should take no more than 12 hours to finish thawing it. Therefore, it will be ready to cook the day after delivery. It is recommended that you finish thawing the pig on ice or in a refrigerator. Freeze the pig if you are not going to cook it within 4 days of receiving.
Pick Up Details: Let us know in the comment box when you want to pick up. Picked up pigs are fresh, not frozen. It is recommended that you order at least 5 days in advance for pick up orders. If you need a pig sooner please contact the farm. Pick up location is Stryker Market 67 Park Avenue Wind Gap, PA 18091. Hours 9am-6pm Wed-Sat. 9am-3pm Sunday
Butterfly Pig: For an additional $20 we can butterfly your pig so that it lays flat during cooking. We can also remove the head for a $20 fee.
